What We Sell

In order to provide our customers with the most unique crafts, we buy small quantities, choosing to focus on variety. Most items have been bought personally by Ginger from the artist. In our store, there's a story behind every craft. When you come for a visit, please ask Ginger about the artist!

The core inventory features primarily home furnishings and accent pieces, and ethnic and tribal collectibles, including rustic pine furniture, furniture made from architectural salvage, and antique Swati and Tibetan trunks.

Textiles include handknotted Tibetan carpets, Turkish and Afghani kilims, Kashmiri chainstitch rugs, Russian soumaks, and flat-woven rugs of the Americas, including Zapotec and Navajo.

Ethnic accoutrements include drums from four continents, glazed and unglazed pottery, woodcarvings, beadwork, masks, ethnic jewelry, clothing, and Native American art and artifacts. In short, there is something for everyone!

About Our Prices
A common remark by our first-time customers is, "Your prices are so low!"

By buying directly from the artists and avoiding middlemen we manage to sell quality crafts at very low prices. We also host special events throughout the year when we lower our prices even more.

About The Artists
In keeping with Ghandi's principle of micro-industry, and working under the guidelines set by the Fair Trade Federation, Ginger Blossom buys from small scale producers who are paid an equitable wage, work under safe conditions, and do business in an ecologically sustainable manner.
